Giovanni Bernard vs. Jeremy Hill

Before this year, the big question for fantasy owners was who will have a better season, Giovanni Bernard or Jeremy Hill. The outcome after this season was pretty similar between the two of them. Hill has the advantage in rushing stats with 44 more yards and four more rushing  yards, but Bernard beat him in catches by 134 yards and two touchdowns. However, it was pretty clear by the end of the year that Hill had the better season. Hill beat him in total yards, 1,339:1,029, total touchdowns, 9:7, and yards per carry, 5.1:4.0. It’s been a frustrating ride for Bernard and his owners the last two seasons, by not being able to take the workload. Hill also ended his last three regular season games with a total of 73 touches, 409 yards, and 3 touches. Bernard ended his last 3 regular season games with 41 touches, 248 yards, and 2 touchdowns. While Bernard can be a valuable flex player, he’s not a reliable starter in many fantasy leagues. Once Bernard got injured and missed weeks 9-11, Hill took the workload. Hill is the more trusted starter going into the 2016 season.
